Accel-Heal Solo
Accel-Heal Solo is an electrical stimulation device that provides targeted therapy for hard-to-heal and painful wounds, including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers.
One single Accel-Heal Solo device delivers an automatic, pulsed electrical stimulation throughout a pre-programmed 12-day treatment programme (previously 6, 48-hour devices were required). The pulses are below the threshold for sensory stimulation which means that patients should not typically feel them, yet they are strong enough to trigger the cellular responses needed to kick-start the healing process.
A wearable device, Accel-Heal Solo is discreet and does not hinder the patient’s mobility. Design improvements including longer wires and an optional clip and strap now enable easier placement and facilitate the treatment of larger wounds and wounds in hard-to-reach areas. The therapy can be easily managed by the patient themselves, or their carer, in the comfort of their own home.
Additional benefits of Accel-Heal Solo include an improved user interface which provides a clear indication of device operating status. Longer wires and an optional clip and strap also enable easier placement and facilitate the treatment of larger wounds and wounds in hard-to-reach areas.

About Accel-Heal Solo
Accel-Heal Technologies Limited is a UK-based company that was established to continue the development of unique electrical stimulation products to help transform clinical and health economic outcomes in patients with painful and hard-to-heal wounds.
Electrical stimulation is one of the most evidence-based technologies in wound management with five meta analyses and over 30 RCTs published today. Accel-Heal Technologies now provides electrical stimulation in a small portable device, providing uninterrupted use across all care settings.
Transform patient outcomes
Electrical stimulation has a real potential to transform outcomes in patients suffering from painful, hard-to-heal wounds. It is now one of the most evidence-based therapies in wound management having shown its efficacy to stimulate healing and help to relieve pain in numerous clinical trials. The challenge has always been how to incorporate what has been perceived as a complex therapy, into frontline clinical practice. Accel‑Heal, as a pre-programmed, single-use, portable and easy to use electrical stimulation device, has been developed to address this challenge.
